the search for THE designer

today was a good day.went with schmuck to meet our first designer, merlene marcelo. she's actually the cousin of tin capuno, who is schmuck's barkada in college. tin referred her to us, and i checked out her works in her website. i couldn't really see the details but it seemed ok and worth checking out.
went to her shop in makati after lunch today and saw some of her actual works. veeeery nice beading and embroidery! very dainty! very nice and clean lines too. pulido gumawa. then when we got to talk to her, click kami! even schmuck got along very well with her too! she gave me the lowdown on her services, and it all sounded very good. but then again, it really all boils down to price.
the good thing is, the price she quoted is still a negotiable price. but that means that schmuck and i have to decide early. pressure! i don't really have other designers in mind. i'm just really scouting around, and i'd like to check out enan almando and maybe junjun cambe, who is just here in bf.
well, at least that already gives me one option. let's keep our fingers crossed!
